Mick talks about the importance of sporting heritage at Newcastle Thunder giving an old adage “those who drink from the well should never forget those who dug the well” as an example to celebrate the grassroots effort people who 20/30 years ago built the sport up from nothing in this region. He pays tribute to all the people who make up the story of the Club and sport in the region from fans, players, coaches, volunteers, owners and admin for a team effort that will drive the ambition for the future leading up to 2030 and beyond
